June 7 - Birding By Ear

Come learn to recognize bird calls and identify species by their song.  Expert birder Fran Zygmont will lead the workshop through Aton Forest's fields and woodlands in search of the many birds residing in and passing through the preserve.

FRAN ZYGMONT is an expert local birder and president of the Litchfield Hills Audubon Society. He leads bird walks throughout the state and has assisted in Aton Forest Breeding Bird Surveys.
